Wellsites provide basic Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) via a plugin called All-in-One-SEO.
This provides you with the ability to provide information for Search Engines such as google, yahoo and bing etc on a per page/post basis.
As you scroll at the bottom of each page/post you will see the following menu option:
Different Search Engines use different methods to search on. Yahoo and Bing use keywords, Google uses descriptive sentences. Every few years, this changes again.
All-in-one-SEO Title
Position A: Add a Title that is relevant to the Page/Post
This is the title that would be viewed within browsers. It should have one or two keywords. Be User Friendly and readable.
Example of a Bad Title: WPBeginner – WordPress Themes, WordPress Plugins, Resources
Good Title: WPBeginner – Beginner’s Guide for WordPress
Title should be under 60 characters long
All-in-one-SEO Description
Position B: Description of your page/post.
This description should be no longer than 160 characters. Description is primary used by Google Search Engines. Again the description should user friendly. Sentences should include keywords. It is recommended that the description is not an exact copy of your web content.
This is the most difficult part and will probably need updating to help with search engine rankings.
All-in-one SEO Keywords
Position C: Add as many keywords as you think are appropriate for that particular Page Or Post. Think what what words your visitors will use to try and find you. This is primarily used by Bing and Yahoo Search Engines. Again keep the keyowords relevant to page/post. Repeating a keyword too often does not help search engines.
