There are times when a page needs to be created but you do not wish to place it on the navigation menu.
Examples:
- Creating a thank you page that is only viewed when a form is submitted
- Creating a page that can ONLY be accessed if a hyperlink is clicked on.
There are 2 methods that can be used to obtain the same effect.
Create a “hidden” page
Create a wordpress page as normal and PUBLISH it.
Option1 – Show in Menu
- Edit the page that you just created it.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see Theme Options on the sidebar
- Untick Show in Menu
Option2 – WordPress menus
WordPress Menus are located under Appearance Tab. It controls the navigation bar.
If you do not wish a page to be display on the navigation bar, DO NOT place it on this menu.
If it already exists, just remove it.
