NextGen Gallery is a third party extension to allow you to add galleries or slideshows to your website. Please email support@wellsites.com.au to add NextGen to your site.
On installing NextGen, a Gallery Menu item will be seen on the dashboard menu. Click to open for all menu options.
Creating a Gallery & Uploading Images
- Click on Gallery
- Click on Add Gallery/Images
Step1. Add a name to a create a gallery. If gallery already exits, then she pull down the menu and select appropiate gallery.
Step2. Add images. You can either do this by dragging and dropping the images or by clciking the Add Files button.
Step3. Click Start Upload button , to start uploading the images.
Managing a Gallery
- Gallery – Manage Galleries
This provides a list of all galleries that you have created. Bulk actions menu provides provides a list options that be carried out against any gallery selected.
To view details of a gallery, just click on the gallery name
Insert Gallery into a Page or Post
- Go to your wordpress post or page
- A new NextGen Icon
has been added to teh formatting bar
- Click on icon
Display Type – By default Gallery
Select Gallery
- Click on “what would you like to display”
- Click on Galleries box. This will display all the galleries you have, select the relevant gallery.
When you have finished, Click Save button at the bottom.
