Have often have you played a video on your Android phone and then find it doesn’t work on your iPad etc. Up till now, different browsers and different devices supported different video formats.
Thankfully this is now changing.
HTML5 ( which is a version of .mp4) is emerging the standard format for all videos.
If placing your own videos directly on your site, ensure that there in HTM5 format. This will esnure that leading browsers and devices ( iPads, iphones, Android, Tablets) can all play your video with no problem.
